Every year in August, the ceramic city of Gmunden becomes a colorful stage for contemporary international pottery art. About 130 ceramicists from different countries present and offer their works for sale. Visitors will have the unique opportunity to get a comprehensive overview of the European ceramics scene. Accompanying the market, Gmundner galleries and exhibition spaces will show works by emerging as well as established and renowned ceramic artists. Since its premiere in the 1980s, the pottery market has continued to develop and grow. It is now one of the top ten ceramic events in Europe.
