Speziell die europäische Initiative „Think Tank“ möchte ich im Zusammenhang mit dieser Bewerbung hervorheben, hat sie doch über viele Jahre Gmunden mit zusätzlicher internationaler Aufmerksamkeit im Bereich der kunstkritischen Auseinandersetzung mit den „applied arts“ im Kontext allgemeiner zeitaktueller kunsthistorischer Fragestellungen etablieren können.
